who the hell is kian?

          A little historical background on my art journey. When I was in elementary school, I always entered poster-making contests, even though I only got the 3rd place most of the time, but it was better than nothing. I also joined the Young Artist Club and learned more about drawing and ways of blending using oil pastels, which our adviser also trains us when some of us are going to compete against different schools, etc. When I went to junior high, I still joined a lot of poster-making contests. I even remember one of my classmates right now was in 3rd place and I was in 2nd when we competed in one of the school events.

          Moving ahead to around 2020, this year was the starting point of me getting serious about finding an artstyle. The number of those artistic experiments led me to have four art styles, and I'm glad that I'm very distinct and consistent in using my style. I know that there are still more things to learn about my drawing and, of course, animation, because that's really what I want to master. I was really grateful for that one day, August 24, 2019. I can still remember that day because it's one of the memorable day I've had. It was an event from different vicariates of Guadalupe, so all parishes had this event called "Amazing Race," where we had different things to do in different churches (stations). I met some really nice people that I befriended, like Macie and Ate Christine (our professor's sister). Because of Ate Christine's mentioning that UMak has an animation strand, I was really intrigued. That is why I am currently one of her brother's students.
