UMak Org Fest (Day 1-5)

SOOOOOOOO, it's been awhile. So like, I forgot I was assigned to the registration booth for the upcoming organizational festival, and I also forgot to make merch for the college we are affiliated with (Siklab). So I did some filing and cramming to do on Sunday before the event and, uhh, yeah. Moving on to some random days, it was fun actually. I'm really enjoying everything. On the last day, it was really fun because I got to hang with my friends and have pics with my girlfriend in booths. We literally take over the karaoke booth because we're having a concert with our friends there.

So how's my duty at the registration booth? Well, it was fun, except for the fricking heat. IT'S SO GODDAMN HOT!!! I literally let myself hyperfocus on the registration coz I enjoyed it so much surprisingly. Even in our break, I kept letting people walk into our booth.

So about the other side of the table, a.k.a. the sticker booth of me and my classmate. Well, this is not an anime convention, so we didn't sell much. Mostly on the fifth day, a lot of people bought some of our merch, It was really nice. There's this guy who even bought a set of my stickers. It was flattering really, and some of my SSG co-officers bought my stickers and some put them on their laptops too.

The whole experience was a blast, even in the midst of a pandemic. I can't believe I could do something fun and interesting for the whole week. This is the second time I've been assigned to work in the registration booth, but this event is massive; I only realized it afterwards when I was reflecting on my week. AND OMG, I just recalled that was my first time selling my official arts in this certain way. It was a lot of fun, and it was also a terrific opportunity to practice when I'll try selling online (like on Shopee) and at cosplay, art, and anime conventions. And about everyone, people there are so nice, and we worked together to let people in for the event. Even though it was hot because it was almost summer, we didn't let it get into us and we accomplished everything by the end of the day.
